Gerardo Gonzalez, BNS, RN

Hello, my name is Gerardo Gonzalez, and I am currently pursuing my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) at Azusa Pacific University. Goals

My personal philosophy and goals

As I start my journey in nursing, I am guided by a strong personal philosophy that values integrity, empathy, advocacy, and continuous learning. I believe that these principles are the foundation of my dedication to offering caring and comprehensive care to both individuals and communities.

I place a great deal of importance on integrity in my practice. This means that I value honesty, transparency, and following moral and professional principles. I always make sure to maintain the highest standards of integrity by consistently acting in the best interests of my patients and being transparent in everything I do.

I believe that empathy and advocacy are crucial aspects of my nursing philosophy. I strive to create a strong bond with my patients by understanding and supporting their needs. This helps to establish a connection based on respect and empathy. I strive to empower my patients to actively participate in their healthcare journey by actively listening and providing compassionate care.

I am committed to advocating for nursing practices that prioritize a comprehensive approach to patient care. I work by integrating evidence-based practices, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and using innovative strategies to meet the physical, emotional, and social needs of my patients.

Moreover, I am dedicated to making a positive impact on the health and welfare of my patients and communities, both inside and outside of the healthcare environment. I want to give back to the communities that have supported my professional development and improve the overall health outcomes of the people I serve through volunteering and community engagement initiatives.

For now, I want to focus on improving my clinical skills, connecting with other healthcare professionals to build my network, and finding ways to keep growing professionally. I hope to obtain more certifications and attend conferences so that I can stay up to date with the latest developments in the field./p>

In the future, I hope to take on leadership positions in healthcare organizations so that I can have a say in policy-making and drive initiatives to improve the quality of care. I hope to inspire future generations of nurses and contribute to the advancement of the nursing profession by taking on leadership responsibilities. Ultimately, my goal is to improve the health and well-being of society as a whole.
